Another thing I do is...If I am using the IRON ON stabilizer, I DO NOT iron it down until I am happy with the finished product. I have become a pro at ripping out embroidery designs. I am just a perfectionist when it comes to it, so if I have a design that is crooked, even the slightest and I notice it, I'll rip the entire design out. YES, it can take hours and hours, but I do it.
Then, once I am happy with the design, I'll iron it. I try NOT to use the iron on stuff, but sometimes that's all I have.
Also, if you DO use the iron on, make sure it's SHINEY side down. Can you tell I've made that mistake before? Ya live and learn and pass on your learnings.
