I dislike the clover iron too. In fact, I tried to give it to 2 different friends and they gave it back to me. I watch Pam Heller use it on her Accuquilt videos and it fits her purpose but like Peckish, it's only good for burning fingers.
I may check out the mini iron at Walmart because I would like to have one for my appliqué in the hoop.
