I love the sound of Doc, what a sweetie. Sounds like the kind of horse I should have got. Instead I fell in love with a Spanish mare who turned out to be a 'nightmare'. Oh, but she was beautiful! I so identified with both your stories, Karla and Rachel. I cried my eyes out the dday she went - luckily the seller took her back (for less than I'd paid, of course!) I had her around 7 months. I still miss her though.
