Someone must have gotten burned by dripping butter thus the reason not to. LOL I have one not as fancy. I bake cornbread, small casseroles, make buttered toast, heat frozen foods, everything an oven will do. For non soggy reheated foods you can't beat an air fryer.
Oh gosh, if DH learns about air fryers that will be our next "gadget". I'm not telling him that they crisp up!
