Well, what's odd is that the needles (the old needles) that came with the machine are longer than store bought modern needles? I thought the old needles were much shorter? I'll have to go size things up by the decal like you said. But the needles that came with the machine are labeled eldredge I guess? I'm not sure how it's spelled and I'd have to use a magnifying glass. As for the motor and the light wires they were fine. I think the problem was the block and knee switch, but I didn't know that. Those wires look bad. I don't know how to rewire anything myself or electrical and I'd be afraid to
