Over Ripe Bananas
Found this recipe on the internet several years ago. The name is absolutely accurate - they are mouth-watering. Enjoy
Mouth-Watering Banana Bars
Bars:
½ c butter 1-1/2 c sugar
2 eggs 1 c sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla 2 c flour
1 tsp. baking soda ¼ tsp. salt
2 mashed bananas 1/2- 1 c chopped nuts (optional)
--Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Pour batter into a lightly greased or parchment paper-lined 9x13 baking try. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely before spreading with cream cheese frosting. NOTE: for high altitude, bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes.
Cream Cheese Frosting
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
¼ cup butter softened
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c powdered sugar
--Whip all ingredients together ‘till well blended.
