I have meant to make some and even have the pattern, tutorial and bamboo batting. Just never got to it. Even though they are 'supposed' to be microwaveable, my niece's caught on fire in the microwave. She knew it was 100% cotton but figured maybe food or grease had dripped onto it. But I like the idea of carrying my soup bowl without oven mitts.
