I think it comes down to being aware... Most processed foods are very high in salt. Foods like cheese, pickles, etc really surprise people. Become a label reader, but some food like cottage cheese and bread that do not have any added salt really taste bad to me. My mom is on an almost no salt diet and we couldn't eat either one of those... You will start noticing once you read labels that a serving size is not really accurate, and when you do the math to the amount you actually end up eating the amounts of fat and salt can really add up.
I also noticed the containers of yogurt have gotten smaller over the years, and the "diet" ones are even smaller yet LMBO I guess you can save money by buying the regular and only eating half :D:D:D
