I was hoping if anyone lives in a community such as or knows of where to come up with a template to work with I would so love to get a copy or simply some ideas. We were told we need to write a simple one or two page plan. 500 sites, maybe 5 percent occupancy during off season, 80 percent (or 2000 people here) during Memorial to Labor day. AHH!!

ALSO: a Short easy plan for lost children. This happens they get wandering about away from a site and cant find the right street and everything looks the same. Any ideas??
I don't know about campgrounds but when it comes to evacuating our building, here at work, we need to account for everyone. Is there a way to know who is currently at the campground? do they have to sgn-in? Or, does the gate record who's passed thru? If yes, you might consider keeping a master list of current occupants nearby, say a clip board near an exit. Identify one or two phone numbers (and/or web site) where people can call to report that they have evacuated.

Emergency responders should also have this number so they can determine if someone might be trapped at the campground. It's not fool proof but it's a start.
