Oh years ago a quilter friend in Australia was telling me about that happening there. She was retired and went around helping with shows at various places. Some venues started putting the quilts up with cords that were attached at each end of the stands. Worked well. But perhaps more security is necessary. one never knows what happens during the nighttime.
