I looked at the pattern again, and still using the same measurements as above, I redid the blocks as 12 inch square blocks. The quilt as shown would only be 36 inches square and would still need another set of the 4" wide snowballed blocks down the right side and the bottom, which would bring the size up to 40". If you use 18" blocks, which would be 3 inch squares, then the finish with the extra 6 inch borders would be 60 inches squares. 4 inch squares would give you 24" blocks, with 8" extra borders would give you 80" square. This probably "clear as mud". And now you know why I don't write quilt patters. lol
