A friend put clear contac on her's. She gave me 1 to try and it did cut some of the glare but not completely. Would rather have the non-glare but at the present I am using the wood rulers for my straight lines. There is absolutely no glare from them. I draw the pattern out on graft paper and then do all my lines on the graph paper with the ruler to make them straight and press it onto the fabric and start cutting. I do use the coated freezer paper with my hot iron. If I pull it off slow enough I can usually cut the full quilt with 2-3 pattern pieces.
