That works too. My daughter is a math geek!!! she has a journal that she uses in her spare time to work algorithms, I have no idea where she came from. She is a brainiac, unlike her mother who has better things to do than to sit around figuring math problems. If she isn't doing math she's reading. I know that quilting has a ton of math in it but I try to avoid it as much as possible. If I have to think about measurements and figure out sizes that is not the project for me. I am an eyeballer. I look at it, if it looks good to me then I am perfectly fine with it. Although, I do have a tendency to waste some fabric but I think about that when I am purchasing it, I just buy more than I need that way I am covered.
