Cluckclucksew has a diagonal seam tape that I am just starting to try. I don't like drawing lines or creasing. This might be the answer for me. I maybe would try positioning my point just to the left of the red line to get a scant 1/4 inch seam If you go to the site, there is an illustration on how to use the diagonal seam tape.
