Welcome to Quilting Board. It warms my heart when machines in our youth are still around and usable. My brother and refurbished the treadle that my sister learned to sew on. She was very appreciative and tells me often of how she enjoys sewing with it. She has also sent me things that were pieced on the treadle.
Shari is correct that the needles you need are 15x1, which are now known as 130/705. These are the system numbers not the size numbers. There are some information sites and pictures about the different points that the 130/705 come in. This one has a great deal of information, but it looks like they mislabeled the scarf which on the opposite side of the long groove.

The sewing machine needles come with different points as seen at
https://www.migdigitizing.com/images...ng-Machine.png and
https://www.kathykwylie.com/wp-conte...edle-Types.jpg These machines were made for sewing on woven fabric and generally one would want a sharp pointed needle. The size is dependent on the fabric and thread being used.
Hope this helps some.
