Yup. Our Joe reacts much better when we tell him our intentions and say goodbye. We left the house at 7:30 this morning and came home at 5 pm. Other than a short walk with our neighbour and her dog, he was alone in the house with two cats (they are not buddies!!) No mangled felines, no knocked over food containers. Win, win!!
