Default Saturday Update

Yesterday felt so good for me! Over the course of the last eight months, I stopped doing anything with the laundry, save for just piling up the dirty clothes and then bagging it up for the other half to take to Theo so he could do it. When he brought it home, I just tossed the bags into the corner and would pick through and find whatever I wanted to wear. So the clean clothes bag piled up and piled up and I finally got through all of them yesterday! Everything folded, socks matched, towels found, sheet sets put back together and everything is back in its place! The only thing left I have to put away is the two big piles of hand towels and wash cloths for the kitchen, they're still sitting next to me, lol.

I ended up starting to sew late last night, going through all those clothes took way longer than I anticipated, so I got a late start. Picture is what I have so far, I need at least two more rows and columns, maybe three. It's MSQC's Flower Chain, but I used fall colors and white background instead of what they used. I just showed my sister a picture, she absolutely loves it so I'm extremely happy!

Today, it's going to be uninterrupted sewing. I have to take the kids out so they can potty and I have a small load of dishes to do, I'll do them when I take my breaks.

Too happy to be back, tallchick, when I was gone, I was missing the forum and the quilting weekends desperately, but I just didn't have the energy or the bandwidth to even consider trying to get on the boards or do any sewing. I did some crocheting, but my heart has always been to sew and quilt. It didn't take much to get back to my place of Zen, walking away from my sewing machine ended up being a huge mistake.

Happy sewing today, quilting sisters!! I'll update again later!!
