Good thing I keep a notebook with all my quilts these days. Here's what OurWorkBench helped me figure out.
20 large blocks cut @ 6 1/2"
40 dark blocks cut @ 3 1/2"
40 white cut @ 3 1/2"
20 medium cut @ 3 1/2"
Sew 1 dark and 1 white together and add to a side of the block
sew 1 white 1 dark and 1 medium together. Dark fabric must be in the middle space.
Sew this set of 3 to the side of th block
Rotate every other block to form stairsteps.
Both the large block and the dark block must form stairsteps to make this work.
I added borders to enlarge the quilt a bit.

Hope this helps, as we never found the original pattern so just kind of made it up.
