I'm making a denim Dresden rug. It has an embossed denim fabric on the back and an 80/20 batting. I've got it glue basted and pin basted. I'm just not good at figuring out how to quilt things.

It measures 52" across.

I want to quilt the heck out of it.

I think I want 4 different motifs to go in the different blades and repeat them each 4 times, as there are 16 blades.

Or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
