Default Motor spring

it was hard to remove, but it finally came off and I cleaned the brushes and attached a new cord . Any help would be appreciated Thanks
you need yo have the rubber pulley off the machine.
when the spring is engaged in the motor and it is properly attached to the back of the machine hold it down against the spring tension and reinstall your pulley so it touches your hand wheel. The spring keeps it engaged against the wheel with enough tension to make the pulley spin and turn your wheel. Hope this helps you.
