I have this machine. It's wonderful. I wanted a straight-stitch machine (I will never use all of these fancy stitches). But my messed up arthritic fingers just could not deal with the lower side bobbin that all of the straight stitch machines have. This was sitting at my Baby Lock dealer amidst all of the Baby Locks. I tried out a Jazz and a Soprano and returned them both, but I'm so thankful I bought this (it was quite the step up from the 1988 Singer I had started on).
