I had a question about Juki not long ago and emailed them at: [email protected] I got a very fast response with the information I wanted. They won't provide a review, I'm sure, but at least you will have more information.

I was told by a member of the Juki Sewing Machines Yahoo group that the DX2000QVP is only available through certain Juki dealers. It is not available online. However, apparently it is similar to the HZL-DX7: same functions and features, only the outside casing is a bit different. Information and pricing on the DX7 is available online.

Thanks for the info Kwiltr. Unfortunately this is not the same machine, the Juki 2200QVP is a long-arm machine (18 in. arm, I think), which is also available as a sit-down model. The DX2000QVP is more the size of a domestic sewing machine, and if I understand correctly, it combines quilting and embroidery functions.

I know this is an older thread, but I thought I'd post this for those looking for reviews on this machine. I wrote a lengthy review, very positive, about this machine. You can find it here.

I have this machine. It's wonderful. I wanted a straight-stitch machine (I will never use all of these fancy stitches). But my messed up arthritic fingers just could not deal with the lower side bobbin that all of the straight stitch machines have. This was sitting at my Baby Lock dealer amidst all of the Baby Locks. I tried out a Jazz and a Soprano and returned them both, but I'm so thankful I bought this (it was quite the step up from the 1988 Singer I had started on).
If you have any particular questions, I'd be happy to answer them as best I can.
Edit: Just noticed this was an older post.

Thank you for the review. I've been looking at Juki's a bit. My Bernina 153QE still sews as beautifully as the day I brought it home, but I know that after 20+ years, it's a matter of time before something (probably the motherboard) goes. Originally Posted by Christine-

You mentioned in your review that this is now your travel machine. May I ask what your everyday machine is?

My every day machine is an Elna eXellence 780+, also a wonderful machine! I especially like the light you can pull out in front of the machine, so handy for stitching at night.
