In the class that I took recently, The presenter glued first then secured with clear thread/filament. E-6000 glue should hold them in place (w/o stitching) for a ceremony. The Presenter made the Duchess Gowns for our Buccaneer's Day Court. Super expensive.
Thank you for the helpful suggestions... I have used E6000 before but don't have any presently - I will look to get some. I have clear monofilament. When I tried to use silk or polyester thread to sew the rhinestones on, it shredded, but maybe having them glued in place will help. Thank you again!
