Beautiful Colors!
I looked up Shadow Box quilt pictures and found lots of inspiration. Since you have some dark colors, maybe a shade of the grey would work well in order to give the shadow effect. I have read that some quilters use paint cards to help them decide on colors to choose if they don't have the color of fabric to audition from their stash.
