Default thank you Betty

[QUOTE=eparys;8677461]Before I answer - I do not have a Lizzie - I have a HQ - but just a couple of places that I would start

Is there thread stuck in the bobbin? Try removing the bobbin and check for threads. Next if your machine calls for oiling the bobbin - do that and let it sit for a few minutes, Then try rotating the Hand wheel slowly back and forth. Will the needle move then?

Does your machine require oiling regularly? If so the oil you last used may be dry and the machine parts may need lubrication (my first LA was a Voyager and needed regular oiling at several locations ). When my Voyager sat I always needed to oil it - so I would oil it and start hand rotating the Hand wheel back and forth till it loosened up.

Lastly after being moved it may need timing.

Also - do not know if you saw this post here in the QB but it may have some helpful info in it for you

needle getting stuck in down position

Good luck . Hopefully someone more knowledgeable about your machine will chime in. Also if you are on Facebook there are a couple of Tin Lizzie groups that may be helpful to join.[/QU

i joined the groups, not many have an apprentice, it will jog, which means baste basicly, but not run in the lizzie stitch mode, which i just don't understand since it does run in jog mode. think i will call out to floyds and see what they have to say if anything. may have to take in to see spa.
