I heard a story once...You all may have heard this one already.
A woman got a ham and cut it in half and put each half in a pan to roast. Her daughter asked her why she did that and she said that was the way you cooked a ham because that was the way her Mom always did it. The daughter asked her Grandmother why she did it that way and she said, "Because I never had a pan big enough, so I had to cut it in two!"
