QuiltE,I used an Ombre fabric that started out at the sides with deep purple, then navy blue, then a cherrry red into a vibrant orange and ending int he middle with yellow. There are 2 patterns out there using this type of Ombre fabric but I haven't seen this type of Ombre fabric out there any longer. They either have polkadots or something other than this variation. I was able to use a full width of this fabric making pleats on either side of the yellow for my pillow scams, then what I cut off from the top and bottom, I used on the sides of a couple throw pillows made in the purple/black checked fabric which is a backing fabric. I ordered around 10 yards of that fabric so I've been using it for backings, borders, bindings and have enough to make my bedskirt for the queen spare bed.
