From time to time every year, I take a gander at the saved items on my computer, particularly quilt patterns. I likely have mentioned it before but from time to time I wander my bookmarked patterns and give them a hard look. Did I like the pattern or did I like the colors of the illustration? In reality, will I ever make that quilt? Is this a duplicate of a traditional pattern that I have saved under a different name? Is this pattern WAY beyond what I want to tackle? or more likely is the pattern WAY beyond my skill level. Lastly, if I started it, do I like it enough to really finish it. If the answer is no, then I delete it.

I did some of this yesterday and dumped about 1/4 of the bookmarked patterns. I really, truly would never make a quilt from that pattern. It felt good to declutter my pattern folder. I also found some gems that I forgot I have saved. On the list for next year unless something else jumps in line ahead of it. Tee-Hee-Hee.
