Yes, Yes, Yes! A good time saver! I don't do this all the time or with batting scraps, but when I put a piece of batting scrape aside to use for later that is at least big enough for a baby quilt, I will pin a post-it note with the measurement of that piece! Thanks for the reminder and sharing a good organizational method for our batting.
I go one step further and make a list of sizes on a spreadsheet. I can go to the spreadsheet and see if I have anything the size needed. I also store batting pieces in order by size so it’s easier to locate them once I’ve checked my spread sheet. The time spent doing this saves me time later.
