@ElaineCovid ... If you can reach the higher spots safely ... go for it!
You may discover that time of receipt has nothing to do with what is up there.
Might as well take care of your own $$ first and foremost!

Haven't noticed the segregated high spots in the two Len's, that I am most apt to be in. Actually neither have unrealistic high shelving. Granted there are a couple of regular LQS' that have that problem ... and I totally hate it!

My two somewhat local Len's ... The one is neat as a pin, with lots of space between the aisles and good lighting. Shelves are not overly crowded, though totally full.

Meanwhile the other store has gone downhill terribly, and become somewhat of a mess, so that you can't find stuff, as it seems things get pretty much abandoned and not tidied up when they are abandoned. Fabric aisles are ridiculously narrow, and the lighting terrible. The fact that there seems to be too much fabric inventory for the shelving available, doesn't help either. Kind of a good thing ... but when you can't find anything?

It saddens me, as I used to enjoy my Len's trips.
And so, they have lost a lot of my spontaneity shopping and spending!
Of course, the neater store isn't the closest.

Guess I could go with the old line of ... "It's worth the drive ...!!" ... but I don't always have the time to go the distance!!
