I have a hard time understanding the timeline and the different models to say nothing of serial numbers. I did find a few link for your perusal.
- Manual for 9W which was originally on Needlebar which is no longer on line https://ismacs.net/needlebar/main/ma...r9w/index.html
- A good post about 9W machines including info about needles and hand wheel direction Singer 9W dating
- Some info regarding 9W https://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/s...nes/models/9w/
- More info regarding 9w https://tallysew.com/sewing-machines...nes/singer-9w/
- A thread about W&W9 & 9W serial numbers. Wheeler & Wilson9/Singer 9W Serials
From that last one based on some of the serial numbers, it doesn't make sense to me, as it appears that some are just numbers and then a W prefix number and then possibly just numbers, again.
I didn't look for a Wheeler & Wilson 9 manual, but I know there are some available for free. I think the only difference would be the spool pin. I have a Junker and Ruh machine and I know the Wheeler & Wilson 9 manual helped me thread it.
Have fun with your new acquisition.
ETA - There were different bobbins from what I read in the above links. Which does yours have and were there needles with it?
