K I have been using a pattern kind of like this on my quilts for kids in the blocks. I start a one corner of the quilt and if it a four patch, I do a wave from corner to corner and continue to the opposite corner. turn the quilt and go back to the beginning corner. Sometimes I turn the quilt the opposite diagonal, and when they meet if forms and nice pattern reminds me of a flower.

Thanks, it's a good tip. I don't long arm or have stuff long armed but I guess you could apply it to regular MQ too! :-D
