I have made down jackets, vests, parka and full length robe. These were made 30 years ago and are still warm and comfortable. You used to be able to purchase down at Three Dog Down in Polson MT, which is where I purchased mine.

If you decide to make a quilt or duvet with down it will be much easier if you use fabric softner sheets on you hands and arms. The down won't stick to you then.
