Over the years I have made a few quilts, mostly for grandchildren. I am not really very good but have learned a few things on the internet since I started this quilt. My first boarder. I measured it right and it came out great. I got my bating out a bit too late and it is all wrinkly even after a couple days laid out. I was reading the message board yesterday and they were talking about washing batting. This is Hancock's extra loft batting. My next question is. It looks and feels rather thin. I am thinking maybe I need 2 layers. It is a large baby quilt. This is for my Great Granddaughter
I have to get this done and get going on another one for another grandchild. That is going to be a Sun Bonnet Sue. I wanted something very American because my daughter-in-low is from Japan. She has made a beautiful quilt all by hand.
Quite a few years with no quilts and am of and running to get them done.

Thank you for any help.
