(new quilter here - hope this isn't a stupid question):
So how about when you DON'T want the quilt to pucker? I'm making a Tumbling Blocks & would like it to remain smooth after washing. I've prewashed the fabrics but W&N's website doesn't recommend prewashing except by hand and does not address preshrinking at all.
Would the W&N 80/20 offer the best of both - mostly cotton with enough poly to not pucker after washing?
