really simple. each month the next person on the list picks a block for the rest of us. if we like it we make it and add it to our personal collections for sampler quilts, pillows, table runners, whatever we want to turn them into.
if you want to add your name to the list for a turn to pick, just PM Boo and she'll make that happen. you can make the blocks whether you're on the list or not. you can post pictures of you finished blocks if you want to - also whether you're on the list or not.
nobody checks up on you. nobody keeps track of whether or not you finish "on time". if you make the march block in june and want to post your picture, just find the march block pictures thread and add yours to the collection. same goes for every other month.
