Piecing it wasn't hard at all. Quite easy I think. And yes fabric from around the world. Not every country had fabric so I improvised. Fabric from italy was this woven stuff and I didn't like it. So I found upholstery fabric and I Loved it! Paris,England Scotland, Croatia, Turkey, Africa( african baby quilt that was made out of potato sack material) and I could go on and on.It was easy to decide what to do I just needed a theme. I spent about $250.00 give or take a few. Most of the material from other countries was bought on Ebay coming from that country. Some were from stores in that country as well. This was for their shower gift. My nephew was the first in the family to get married so I wanted it to be good!
