Sewing has always been a part of my life, I made a shirt if I was sad, or a new dress if I was happy, etc. It has always been a way for me to relax. Quilting is my first love right now but reading has been #1 many times during my life. I never go anywhere that I may have waiting time, or may have to stand in line without a book. I have never done much hand sewing so I could never take it with me. I also spend a lot of time with the 3 youngest of my grandsons (one is a great grandson) and my best friends are my two beautiful daughters.
