Rule of thumb, if your manuel doesn't say to oil it, then it's probably self oiling.
No such thing. There idea of self oiling is the bronze bushings are permeated with oil. Or the "plastic" bushings are permeated with oil.
But that does not mean you do not have to oil it. I have used these type of bushings and they need oil otherwise the bushing will wear and then you will have to replace the bushings.
The machine makers use this ploy to sell more machines and get you in the shop so they can make a buck off of you. Rule of thumb oil where metal moves on metal or the metal moves on plastic and you will not have the issues.
