My Dad fished for a living. He got up before dawn so as to get an early start. Sometimes, on Friday night, my brothers would say that they'd get up and go with him but they were usually too tired the next morning. My Dad would say:"The night's story never agrees with the morning's"
Whenever we left an outside door open and the cold would rush in, my Mom would say: "Were you born on a raft?" Or "Are you trying to warm up the outdoors?"
