granniebj-there are low cost spay and neuter programs all over, that you should be able to get both your females spayed. Please don't get me wrong, but in my opinion there's no excuse not to get dogs and cats spayed, regardless if you can "good homes". Let's assume they have puppies and you find all the puppies "good homes", then the new owners don't get theirs spayed, and breed, thus it goes, which is why there are so many dogs and cats in the pound and are euthanized after a very limited time without finding a home. Please get your dogs and cats(if you have any) spayed or neutered.
