My MIL adpoted the chihuahua, and got tired of caring for her and didn't potty train her properly, took her back to pound, I found out and went and adopted her. They are smart dogs and can understand more than you think, she is turning into a nice dog, and I'm not done training her yet, just one thing at a time.
Jingleberry,you are very correct.it makes for better pets,no spraying for the male cats and no hiking leg with the male dog, and it is a preventive for test. cancer. But I am correct also in the if done so early you have the other problems. A responible pet owner would make sure cat or dog that unwanted preg. can be avoided by confining the animal until it is over. Misha is also turning into a nice dog. It takes a lot of patients and the right training every day no skipping,they are to smart it is an everyday deal. Just like it is when you train your child to the potty.
