Wow, completely grossed me out on that one. I actually babysat a girl whose eyes would pop out. Actually it was only the left one usually. I could only watch her once and then never again. There's just something completely icky about having to put someone's eye back in its place and I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to things like that. I was afraid I'd dent her eyeball or put it in wrong or damage the cord it was hanging by.
 :-(
Oh my goodness... that sounds awful... and painful! Poor kid! I wonder if it improved with age?

So no chance of it showing through, and no chance of it falling off (like stickers), and it's not going to use up all my pins either! :-)
Hey Blue, I just did that on Sunday to my Christmas Janes. I used a pencil.

I had been looking at all the blocks and since I am where I was supposed to be on the schedule I went and did what I wanted, I was very curious to the kites, so I did one,

I have to fix the little white bits some but on the whole it isn't bad, especially not for a first attempt,

Wow!! Cutie, your kite is amazing. thanks for the inspiration.

Tiffany - my aunt had that problem with both eyes. They ended up sewing up half of her eyelids to the eyeballs would stay in. They came out when she sneezed as she aged. Her eyes looked so funny, half-sewed!

I just finished week 3 blocks which I'll post tomorrow or later...not sure when I'll be able to photograph...I'm getting a new laptop this week as the one I'm working on is having "issues". So, I may need to wait to transfer all my data, photos etc. to the new machine. Anyway, I am happy, for the most part, about the blocks. The one was a bear, can't recall which at the moment. I'm scared to post...seems like whenever I do I see a mistake!! LOL.

Iv'e hit a couple and they are awful. Hopefully someone can come up with a easy way to do them. Look out for BR10! I got it but with alot of ripping and even the last bit being hand sewn.

Blue - I believe she had some kind of condition where the muscles wouldn't hold her eyeballs in. One was definitely worse than the other. Sadly, I simply couldn't handle it, which probably didn't help the little girl since I imagine she got that a lot from other people. Now I'm older and wiser, but back then it freaked me out pretty badly.

Esqmommy - I can't even begin to imagine. It must have drove her nuts! I have a lot of health problems but thankfully nothing falls out of me and the only thing that comes out when I sneeze is snot. That's gross enough for me!

Cutebuns - you are just amazing! Your kite looks great.
