I have made a couple more, one for my daughter that is all yellows, two bigger ones that were in badger fabrics, that I gave away as cosmetic bags. and i had one failure where I tried to add a 2nd zipper and pocket to the front, but i scavenged it for the zippers.... I made this one yesterday... i've been telling my bee friends that i need to make a bag for my quilting supplies. i wanted the base to be wider, so i added a gusset... and i just couldn't make it without quilting. i also added an inside pocket fully closed with velcro in case i need to carry buttons, money, or other small items. i also wanted my name somewhere in case it got left behind... so i added one of those woven name labels as the pull tab to help open the velcro pocket. i cut the gusset 2" at the bottom and 1/2" at the top... if i make another, i'd cut the base wider so it will sit on its own better.

Well, I just brought home a cute new/old vintage machine (1889). Not sure I am going to make the deadline. Probably will have to play catch up in May. Looking forward to May's project though.

I had a fun afternoon working on this project. Almost had an opps when I forgot to unzip the zipper, lucky for me I remembered just in time. This one is for our teenage granddaughter am sure she will like the fabrics. I plan to make more of these. Seem very handy to use.
