Sulabug how bright and "sunny"! Hey I couldn't wait to get started so sat down tonight and sewed a couple up! I've never done a BOM before. Thought I'd do one set from left over fabrics--getting rid of scraps. The second one is the "control" color scheme.

I am so glad that you have already made your block!! :D Wow, you are fast. The fabric you are using & all of the colors are terrific. I really like the directional fabric that you used also!! Wasn't it just fun to make?:D Persoanally, I didn't think that it was to hard to make, either. I am so glad so many are joining in this year. Let's have some more fun, OK?

I spent half of the evening last night trying to decide what fabrics to use..am I going scrappy for the whole quilt or am I going to do it in a series of coordinating fabrics that match in each block... still stumped. I want to use colors I havent done before which leads towards the more traditional but I think I am not too traditional.. ARGH!!! I am a tad lost with the pattern directions but think once I sit down it will slowly make sense. Will post in the next day or so my finished block. Thanks for getting the ball rolling!! This is my first BOM and all my quilts are gifts the last ten years.. time for one for ME too. Started out thinking flower colors then seeing the second posting maybe just colors I love instead! Oh crud, I love most of them. sigh.

That is a super block! Where is this BOM from? I might be interested in doing it. I'm new to this site so forgive me for not knowing.
