totally agree with you!! all the sudden I am wishing for getting to the end of the year.
I didn't check the thread this afternoon and when I came back there were like 6 more pages.
I was so exited to see everyone's churches that I skept to post comments or read all what was said. No I am re-reading!
Is this happening to you too?

I saw on eithernthis thread or the other about people enlarging their blocks to 12 1/2 inches I wanted to share this link to a quilt name Tiny Town. It has all different sizes of houses and how even though they blocks may not have matched that they were blended in so craftily. Not that you have to do it this way at all just thought Id throw out an idea for everybody

Here is my church block. It is a little non-traditional, I suppose.

This is only the second paper-pieced block I have ever done. I also was one little piece of "dark church" color short. So, I improvised. I may go back and add a bush or flower box over it. I am finished for tonight, though. I also chose to use a "night" sky. Overall, I am happy with it.

(The webcam reversed it! Oops!)

Looking forward to the rest of our "neighborhood."

What a great Church block!! I really like the brick fabric that you used for the church itself. Your embellishments are great too.

Your block is great. I really hope that you will stay with it!! The plaid fabric just makes it. I like it a lot.
