This is only the second paper-pieced block I have ever done. I also was one little piece of "dark church" color short. So, I improvised. I may go back and add a bush or flower box over it. I am finished for tonight, though. I also chose to use a "night" sky. Overall, I am happy with it.

(The webcam reversed it! Oops!)

Looking forward to the rest of our "neighborhood."
That's funny :-) like day of the dead fabric

All of this months blocks look great. I have been reading and watching videos to build up my courage. I am going to jump into my practice square tomorrow. I hope I don't pull all my hair out in the process.

Let me think, there's UFO's to do, the IRR, Row Robin, monthly block, January quilty thing(can't think of the real swap name),and the various other quilty things that just happen along.Does seem like a lot when it's in writing.
But my real deadline this month is the IRR, just started the border, and needs to be mailed by Jan 15th at latest.
Mostly handsewing, so I can do that of a night watching tv, or at various apts, waiting for the healthcare providers who always run late.

Gosh, you are all so FAST.

I have printed out the pattern so far. Need to check stash next but hubby is home so am expected to work in the garden with him if I want to utilise his muscles digging up some shrubs.

Perhaps this evening I will get a chance to sew. Just having a quick check of the posts now while having a cuppa.

Love looking at everyones churches - such variety in styles and fabrics.
