I spent all day yesterday learning to paper piece. the pictures of the churches look great. Will practice the church before I use my fabric of choice. Do we quilt the blocks as we go or after the whole quilt is done? Franrose

This is only the second paper-pieced block I have ever done. I also was one little piece of "dark church" color short. So, I improvised. I may go back and add a bush or flower box over it. I am finished for tonight, though. I also chose to use a "night" sky. Overall, I am happy with it.

(The webcam reversed it! Oops!)

Looking forward to the rest of our "neighborhood."
wow...are you going to make a holloween themed "Neighborhood?" I do love it..
Ooh, that would be a fun one! My local JA is still trying to sell their halloween fabric. I got some really cool batik with skulls thinking that would be good for a teen boy.

It was so much fun. Can't wait for next month.
So, here it is, my humble church. :D

Okay, here is mine. A little trouble getting the sizes printed right, but alls well that ends well. I really like paper piecing.

White On White......as i was looking through the other pics, someone did their church in the wow I used...small circles (like bubbles)

This was so much fun, that i told my mom about it and showed her my church with the night sky...she decided she wants to try her hand at pp and quilting again (first time in 30 years for her).
