I love the birch trees and the choir you can see through the doorway! Lots of us "added" to the sky with other things, but this is the first one I've seen that replaced the sky completely. Beautiful!

GOOD JOB!! Love your windows and the roof fabrics. You can make some beautiful flowers with PP.

REDVETTE: GOOD JOB also!! I hope there are a few more PP patterns for all of us to do. Especially for all of you that stepped up and gave it a try. Love your window fabric!

This is a lovely block. Like the cat and the fact it is keeping an eye on that bird in the sky!

As a result, there is no back wall on my little church (only way to make it line up with the roofing). And I will appllique the windows, door and steeple when I make the next one.

Everyone that did PP for the first time have done an incredible job!! I have PP before, so don't know why this gave me so much trouble. I love the block, so I will attempt another.

I think that it looks nice. I did not print the pattern but drew it out myself. I guess I was lucky in that respect. I did think at the time that I had created more work for myself as I had to figure out measurements and to make sure that the body was in proportion to the roof etc. On the whole, I think that everyone has done great!

There is so much to learn from other interpretations of the block and I look forward to putting some of those things into the next blocks. I haven't fastened the tree yet as I'm kind of waiting to see some of the next building blocks.
