Yes, that's it, thank you!! I just couldn't think of the name of it & now I remember clearly. I love that candy too.

Jennikey, Linda, and Bety B your blocks are just beautiful. I like how Jennikey turned the corners. Very interesting.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments on my block. My inspiration as always comes from all that I have learned on this quiltingboard site and from the books and tutorials and then there is just plain nature. Flowers are so fun to make. So far we are seeing some great blocks made from different fabrics which all bring magic to the Oh Susannah square. I sure as the month goes on we are going to see more spectacular presentations of this block in fabrics and interpretations.
    Have an awesome day!

Here is my BOM for May.

I cannot figure out how to upload a picture. I have tried everything in the help section. So I will just enjoy looking at yours.

"A smile costs nothing, but creates much good. It enriches those who receive it without impoverishing those who give it away. It happens in a flash, but the memory of it can last forever. No one is so rich that he can get along without it. No one is too poor to feel rich when receiving it. It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad and nature's best antidote for trouble. Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed or stolen."

Skydiver70............Have you had trouble posting pictures before? If you have, maybe you need to resize your photo. I know when I first tried, I wasn't able to get mine to post either. Then I learned that I had to re-size the photo. We would love to help you out, so keep us posted. I really want to see your block!! I bet it is so pretty!!

    Such beautiful blocks!

Jeanie, the yellow center makes it look like a real flower!
Urgodschild, I wouldn't change anything. I love the fabric and you did such great fuzzycutting!
BettyB, I wish I had flowers like that in my garden
Linda, yours is lovely! I love the applique center!

JeanieG awesome fabric blends..I love it. They totally make the the Oh Susanah block come to life. I can see an entire quilt made of this fabric with this block looking very astounding. Truly wonderful
    Urgodschild, Great job!
    BettyB, Beautiful job!
Linda, Great idea on the applique center, I can see this variation in a full quilt of blocks also with a different flower design in the middle of each block.

I'm a little slow off the mark and have just found this months thread.

Beautiful blocks from everyone and I really love the rounded off corners from Jenniky and Surfergirl - very flower like. I just might have to flatter you both and copy this pretty variation.

Surfergirl............your block is Beautiful!! The purple color's with your yellow center just couldn't be any prettier. Both you & Jenniky have made your blocks extra special. I think I see a neat new trend coming for this block. Hmmm, maybe I should redo mine too!! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us today.
